Douglass Watson has stepped down from his position as president and chief executive officer of Ondine Biopharma Corp. for personal reasons, the company said.
Ondine co-founder and vice-chairwoman Carolyn Cross will take over the duties of president and CEO on an interim basis.
Watson has agreed to work with the company while the board seeks a permanent replacement.
Vancouver-based Ondine (TSX:OBP) develops and produces anti-bacterial products and laser-activated disinfection for the medical industry.
Xillix Technologies Corp. has named Patrick du Monceaux as vice-president of sales and marketing.
Du Monceaux joins Xillix with more than 25 years of medical sales experience. He will be based in Seattle.

Dasher Exploration Ltd. (TSXV:DAE) has appointed Joan McCorquodale as vice-president of exploration.
McCorquodale has more than 18 years of mineral exploration experience. She will have responsibility for exploration at Vancouver-based Dasher's La Juliana project in Mexico and at the recently acquired Klondike gold project.
Creo Inc. has promoted from within to fill three positions on the Creo Americas leadership team.
David O'Brien has been appointed vice-president of operations and finance. He is also responsible for human resources and legal functions. O'Brien joined Creo in 1999. Most recently he served as acting VP of finance and operations for Creo Japan.
Filip Buyse has been appointed VP of sales for Creo Americas. Most recently, Buyse was managing director of global accounts for Creo Inc.
Barry Quart has been appointed VP of marketing for Creo Americas. He joined Creo in 1997.
O'Brien and Quart are based in the Creo Americas subsidiary headquarters in Vancouver. Buyse is based in the Dallas, Tex., office.
