A veteran grain-trade executive has joined Viterra (TSX:VT) as senior vice-president for international grain.

Donald Chapman comes to the Regina-based company from Toepfer International Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. He will work from Calgary.

Viterra, created by the merger of Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and Agricore United, two of Canada's largest grain handlers, operates across Western Canada and in the United States and Japan.

Great Western Minerals Group Ltd. (TSXV:GWG) has appointed Audrey McMillan, CA, as its chief financial officer. She takes over from Gary Billingsley, who remains executive chairman and will focus on technical project management and the growth of the company.

McMillan comes with a wide range of corporate experience, notably in the oil and gas sector.

Great Western has its head office in Saskatoon. It explores for and develops metal resources in North America.

Kane Biotech Inc. (TSXV:KNE) and Miraculins Inc. (TSXV:MOM) have appointed Eric Johnstone, CA, as their CFO. He succeeds April Manness, who is on maternity leave.

Johnstone was most recently the companies' controller.

Kane is a biotech company engaged in the development of products to prevent and disperse bacterial biofilms. Miraculins is dedicated to the development of biological markers for the diagnosis and treatment of cancers. The two companies are headquartered in Winnipeg.
