Viterra (TSX:VT) has named Doug Wonnacott senior VP of agri-products, working in Regina. He was previously VP and director of crop nutrients for Agriliance LLC in Inver Grove Heights, Minn. Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Inc., doing business as Viterra, is an agri-business with operations across Western Canada, and with operations in the U.S. and Japan.
Wescan Goldfields Inc. (TSXV:WGF) has appointed Kirsten Marcia, P.Geo., as VP of exploration. Prior to joining Wescan, Marcia was most recently director of investor relations for Vena Resources. Wescan is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. It is headquartered in Saskatoon.
Lorilee Kozuska has been named CFO of Shane Resources Ltd. (TSXV:SEI), Star Uranium Corp. (TSXV: SUV) and United Uranium Corp. (TSXV: UUC). Kozuska also currently holds the position of CFO of Tanzania Minerals Inc. She is a CMA. Shane Resources has a portfolio of diamond, gold and base-metal properties in Canada. Star Uranium is focused on the acquisition and development of uranium, diamond and precious-metal properties worldwide. United Uranium is exploring several uranium prospects in Saskatchewan. The companies are based in Saskatoon.
TRLabs has named Dave Schroeder as director of Saskatchewan operations. Schroeder, a secondment from TRLabs charter member SaskTel, succeeds David Milne, who returns to SaskTel after five years with TRLabs.
TRLabs Saskatoon employs 46 researchers and graduate students, and TRLabs Regina employs 20 researchers and graduate students. TRLabs works with its industry partners to accelerate technology commercialization. There are also labs in Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg.
Point2 Technologies Inc. has named Saul Klein as its chief executive officer. He is also CEO of Internet Crusade/RealTown, and brings almost 35 years' experience in the real estate industry. Point2 Technologies provides online marketing and e-business software solutions for the real estate and heavy equipment industries. It is privately held and has its head office in Saskatoon.
