Xtreme Coil Drilling Corp. (TSX:XDC) has made some executive changes. Elizabeth Wilkinson is its new CFO, based in Houston, Tex. Prior to joining Xtreme Coil, Wilkinson served with Eagle Rock Energy Partners L.P. and Kerr-McGee Corp. She replaces Vic Fitch, who remains in Calgary and has agreed to consult on ongoing and future special projects. XDC won the "new exporter" category at the recent inaugural Alberta Export Awards event. Calgary-based Xtreme Coil builds, transports and operates drilling rigs.

Tricap Partners II LP, part of the Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (TSX:BAM.A, NYSE:BAM) group of companies, has named a president for its newly established subsidiary, Hammerstone Corp. Prior to joining, Terry Owen was president of Trimac Transportation Services Inc. The Hammerstone Project, which is subject to regulatory approval, will expand quarry operations together with lime and cement plants in northern Alberta. Tricap provides capital and strategic assistance to mid-market companies based in North America. Brookfield has corporate offices on three continents.

Winstar Resources Ltd. (TSX:WIX) has promoted Bradley Giblin to CFO. Since joining the company in 2005, Giblin has been the controller and subsequently VP of finance. Winstar is a Calgary-based junior oil and gas company active in Tunisia, Alberta, Hungary and Romania.

Rock Energy Inc. (TSX:RE) says Peter Scott, VP of finance and CFO, has resigned after six years with the company. John Van de Pol will take over the roles. Van de Pol was most recently CFO of Northrock Resources Ltd. Rock Energy is a junior oil and gas company based in Calgary.

Iteration Energy Ltd. (TSX-ITX) has hired Peter Scott as VP of finance and CFO. He replaces Sean Johnson, who is stepping aside for personal reasons but will assist through the transition. Calgary-based Iteration is engaged in the exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas in Western Canada.

Deepwell Energy Services Trust (TSX:DWL.UN) has named Jay Simmons as chief executive of Deepwell Energy Services Ltd., the operating company for the trust. Simmons, chairman of DWL Ltd. and a trustee of the trust, succeeds Bob Ritchie, who has decided to pursue other interests, the trust said. Calgary-based Deepwell Energy Services Trust provides waste treatment and disposal services to the oil and natural gas industry in Western Canada.

Continuum Health Care Inc. (TSXV:CCF) has promoted Tracy Wayne to executive VP. Wayne has worked with Continuum for eight years, most recently as VP of operations. Continuum operates several facilities in Alberta that provide supportive living and assisted living alternatives to seniors. Its head office is in Olds.

Pat Sandall, VP sales and marketing, has left AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (TSXV:AMA). Richard Hayden, president of AMA, has assumed the responsibilities for AMA's sales and marketing efforts along with his other duties. AMA sells technology and services designed to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in the aviation industry. Its head office is in Calgary.

Enerchem International Inc. (TSX: ECH) has lost VP finance and CFO Timothy Lemke, who cited personal reasons for his resignation. Enerchem is a manufacturer and distributor of hydrocarbon drilling and fracturing fluids. The Calgary company also provides energy marketing services.

Enerplus Resources Fund (TSX:ERF.UN, NYSE: ERF) has appointed Robert Symonds to the position of VP, Canadian operations. Symonds brings more than 29 years of experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry, most recently with a mid-size independent producer. Enerplus is one of North America's largest conventional oil and natural gas income funds.

Opti Canada Inc. (TSX:OPC) says Sid Dykstra is stepping down as CEO of the Calgary-based energy company, which teamed up with Nexen Inc. (TSX:NXY) to bring the Long Lake oilsands project to fruition. Dykstra, who has been with Opti since 2001, leaves his post after the firm's AGM April 28. He will be replaced by Christopher Slubicki, who has held operations management and engineering positions in the oil and gas industry, and has been a director of Opti for two years. Opti and Nexen officially opened the 72,000-barrel-a-day Long Lake project in December.

CFO Michael Costello has resigned from Guardian Exploration Inc. (TSXV:GX) to pursue other opportunities, but will continue to provide consulting services. Guardian is a Calgary-based corporation engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of resource properties.

Scott Morris is its new president and CEO, while Tim O'Connor becomes COO and John Leduc becomes VP of business development. Kelvin Torgerson has resigned as CFO and corporate secretary of Bonnett's Energy Services Trust (TSX:BT.UN) but remains on the board. Taking over those roles is David Ross. He worked most recently with Canadian Sub-surface Energy Services Corp. The Grande Prairie trust provides wireline and testing services to oil and natural gas exploration firms.

Don Dabbs has joined EarthRenew Organics, Ltd. in the newly created position of VP of special projects. Dabbs brings more than 30 years of experience in environmental science, reclamation and project development, most recently with Birch Mountain Resources Ltd. EarthRenew sells technology to a range of industries for the treatment of organic wastes. The privately held company is headquartered in Calgary with U.S. operations based in Half Moon Bay, CA.

Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P. (TSX:FCE.UN) says Theresa Jang has been appointed VP, controller of Fort Chicago Energy Management Ltd., the general partner of the partnership. Jang has served as controller of the general partner since June 2006. Fort Chicago is a publicly traded limited partnership based in Calgary that owns and operates energy infrastructure assets across North America.

He replaces Ricardo Montes, who stepped down from the position for personal reasons but will continue in a consulting role. PGB carries on business directly in Canada and indirectly in the U.S. through PetroGlobe Energy USA Ltd. Its major properties are in west Texas and west-central Alberta.

Before joining Artevo, Stewart worked as an audit manager with PwC LLP both in Calgary and in London, Eng. The Churchill Corporation (TSX: CUQ) has promoted Don Pearson to the position of president and COO of Stuart Olson, a wholly owned subsidiary. Pearson first joined Stuart Olson in 1985 and progressed through the company to his most recent position as executive VP. He succeeds Al Stowkowy, who has left the company. CUQ provides building construction, industrial construction and maintenance services throughout Western Canada. Its head office is in Edmonton.

Bronco Energy Ltd. (TSX:BCF) says Peter Pelensky has become its president, CEO and a director. Earlier last month, David Work left the position of senior VP geosciences and Stephen Terry the position of VP of production. Additional staff reductions were also made to reduce ongoing costs. Based in Calgary, Bronco is a junior energy company, primarily active in the oilsands in Western Canada.

Rich Minerals Corp. (TSXV:RMC) has engaged Dave Antony as CEO, while Charidy Lazorko becomes CFO and Trevor Wong-Chor becomes corporate secretary. Bernard Chamberland and Debra Senger have resigned as officers, but will continue as directors. Rich continues to pursue oil and gas opportunities in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, and in Brazil. It is headquartered in Calgary.
