Lorraine McGrath has accepted the position of president of Paragon Pharmacies Ltd. (TSXV:PGN). She has been a director of the company since March 2008. McGrath, who most recently was executive VP and COO for Equity Development Bank of Canada, will be joined by Ron Lane as president of store operations. Lane was previously responsible for pharmacy, health and beauty-care operations for a western-based retailer. With the expiration of Randy Henderson's engagement as interim CFO, Denis Taillieu will succeed to the post. Taillieu is a director and serves as CFO of Canterbury Park Inc. These moves come in the wake of Canterbury Park Capital L.P. and Canterbury Park Capital (US) L.P. increasing their ownership in Paragon from 25.6 percent of outstanding common shares to about 70 percent. Headquartered in Kelowna, Paragon owns and operates 18.5 retail pharmacies, three central-fill locations and two home health-care operations in B.C., Alberta and Manitoba. * * * Palo Duro Energy Inc. (TSXV:PDE) has appointed Danny Lee as CFO. Lee, a CA with more than 10 years of experience in the resource sector, is the CFO of LNG Energy Ltd. He replaces Kathleen Butt, who has resigned. Palo Duro is an oil and gas exploration and development company with an operations office in Houston and corporate offices in Vancouver. * * * Bordeaux Energy Inc. (TSXV:BDO) has a new name - Enterprise Energy Resources Ltd. (TSXV:EER) - and a new CFO - Danny Lee. Lee replaces Kathleen Butt, who has resigned from the Vancouver company. * * * Kivalliq Energy Corp. (TSXV:KIV) has hired Jeff Ward, P.Geo, as VP of exploration. He brings 25 years of experience exploring for base metals, precious metals and diamonds. Based in Vancouver, Kivalliq is a new uranium exploration and development company focused on Nunavut Territory. * * * Glenda Dorchak is no longer chairman and CEO of Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX:ICS), a global wireless software solutions provider. ICS says Dorchak has left to pursue other interests. Tracy Rees, current COO, has been named interim CEO. Intrinsyc is headquartered in Vancouver with offices in China, Israel, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. * * * Columbus Silver Corp. (TSXV:CSC) has hired Joel Schuster as VP of commercial affairs. Schuster has worked in private legal practice for nearly a decade, most recently with DuMoulin Black LLP. The company says bringing Schuster in-house "will significantly reduce legal costs, which we consider particularly important in the current economic environment. Columbus is a silver exploration and development company operating in the Western United States. Its corporate office is in Vancouver. * * * Columbus Gold Corp. (TSXV:CGT) also has hired Joel Schuster as VP of commercial affairs. CGT is a gold company operating principally in Nevada. Vancouver-based Columbus Gold holds a significant equity interest in Columbus Silver Corp. * * * Raytec Metals Corp. (TSXV:RAY) has engaged Jeannine Webb as CFO. She replaces Casey Forward, who will remain on the board of directors. Webb, a CGA, brings 20 years of experience in the mining resource sector and was a principal of Badger & Co. Management Corp. The company also has engaged John Houghton as its corporate secretary. Houghton is a veteran senior corporate/commercial lawyer. Vancouver-based Raytec is focused on the exploration of potash deposits in Saskatchewan. * * * Tournigan Energy Ltd. (TSXV:TVC) has recruited Alva Kuestermeyer as its VP of engineering / environmental and promoted Rich Eliason to VP of exploration. Kuestermeyer joins Tournigan after spending four years at SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. Eliason was formerly TVC's chief geologist. Tournigan is a uranium and gold exploration and development company focused on Slovakia. Its head office is in Vancouver. * * * BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc. (TSX:BQE) has promoted Paul Kim, CA, to the role of VP and CFO. Kim replaces John York, who is retiring after a 35-year career including eight years with BioteQ. York will continue in an advisory role on contract. Kim previously was company controller. Teresa Wong has been promoted to take over that role. BioteQ builds, owns and operates wastewater-treatment plants. It is headquartered in Vancouver. * * * Urodynamix Technologies Ltd. (TSXV:URO) has appointed Jonathan Jackson, CA, as CFO. Jackson was most recently CFO at Extreme CCTV Inc. Urodynamix is a Vancouver medical device company developing non-invasive medical technology based on near-infrared spectroscopy. * * * Oroco Resource Corp. (TSXV:OCO) has a new president and CEO. Ken Thorsen, P.Eng., replaces Stephen Leahy, who will remain with the company as executive chairman and a director. Thorsen has been a director of Oroco since November 2006 and has been managing field programs since March 2008. Based in Vancouver, Oroco is focused on six mineral concessions in Mexico. * * * Western Forest Products (TSX: WEF) says its president and CEO Reynold Hert has resigned. WEF says he "will continue to assist the company in certain areas going forward to ensure an orderly transition." Director Dominic Gammiero has taken over temporarily until a permanent
replacement is found for the Duncan-based company. WEF is an integrated forest products company and the largest woodland operator and lumber producer on the British Columbia coast. * * * Redzone Resources Ltd. (CNQ:REZ) says Neil Halldorson has been
appointed a director and president, while Michael Murphy has been
appointed VP of corporate development. Halldorson is a consultant with over 20 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. Murphy is president of Woodman Capital Ltd. Redzone is a mineral
